Sometimes sketch comedy feels effortless and fun, and sometimes it feels hard and challenging. This week focuses on recognizing sketch comedy pitfalls and problems, and ways to overcome them!  Take one or both workshops (discount provided if you take both!) Register below.

SOLVING SCRIPT PROBLEMS

Through exercises and real examples, this workshop will explore ways to overcome common writing struggles such as finding an ending, editing, writers' block and punching up the funny . Students will also be asked to submit specific issues or questions related to sketch comedy writing prior to class, and are encouraged to bring in their own scripts that they are struggling with.

This workshop will help students overcome common performing challenges such as confidence, bringing life to a character, and making a sketch funny!  Students encouraged to bring in performing questions and scripts.
