We have been in lock down for 3 months now and let's admit it- we have all performed at least one lip sync during this time. Well now is your chance to show the world your talent and to compete for cash prizes!
The Siren Theater is hosting MOUTH TO MOUTH- its first ever lip sync competition- and we want YOU to participate! We are looking for the funniest, most creative and most entertaining lip sync performances in TWO categories:
1. Music
2. Spoken Word
Our esteemed panel of judges will watch all submissions and choose the top videos to compete during the livestreamed event on Wednesday, July 1. There is no entry fee and you keep the rights to your performance! Film one by yourself, with your family, with friends all over the country- we want to see them!
CATEGORIES AND PRIZES
Viewers of the livestreamed show will be sent a ballot and will choose the winners for each category:
First Place Musical : $150
Second Place Musical : $75
First Place Spoken Word : $150
Second Place Spoken Word: $75
Best in Show: $200
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
For amateur filmmakers:
• 4:00 minute max length.
• Films made on your smartphone will work great!
• Shot horizontally preferred.
For you professionals with fancy equipment:
• PREFERRED EXPORT: 1920×1080 — 24 frames per second — H.264 video file
• 24 frames per second is preferred (but can also work with 23.98 or 29.97)
• Audio: 48k, 16 bit, stereo
• Codec either Apple Pro Res or H.264
Videos should be 4 minutes or less.
Please submit them in MP4 format.
