ABOUT: Leah Bonnema is a multi-hyphenate comedian, writer, and popular podcast host who’s been seen on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Don’t Tell Comedy, and more. As a nationally headlining comedian, Leah Bonnema had the honor of performing for our troops overseas, touring with Lizz Winstead’s Lady Parts Justice and has been featured at the International Glasgow Comedy Festival, Netflix is a Joke Festival, the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, and at The Kennedy Center during the District of Comedy Festival. She’s performed stand-up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Don’t Tell Comedy, Gotham Comedy Live, Comedy KnockOut, and Chris Gethard Presents. As a writer and actor, Leah's work has been featured in The New York Television Festival, The Portland Film Festival, The Broad Humor Film Fest, The Austin Comedy Film Festival, and The Oregon Short Film Festival. The Doubleclicks wrote silly songs about dinosaurs, Dungeons and Dragons, and Mr. Darcy. Silly. Light. Novelty! Their sibling harmonies and YouTube consistency led to a 10-year career of rocking Portland's smallest rooms from 2009-2019. Then... some things happened. Laser and Aubrey are back in Portland this November with the same songs—which, in retrospect, tell in detail Laser's story of being a closeted, undiagnosed autistic trans man, using pop culture and ukulele songwriting to cope with a challenging world. We can't wait to see you again, or for the first time! It'll be the same songs... with a few key changes. |
