“Entirely too many brains for a cast like that.” (PDX Comedy Blog) It's the 15th anniversary of the staged parody of the best movie ever made about philosophy, the nuances of bar crowd management, love, small town politics and karate in the 1980s. This show debuted back in 2010 to sold out audiences and rave reviews, and it is straight up FUN. Starring some of the funniest people around with live music, there is a reason why this show sells out every time we do it. Get tix early because while pain don't hurt, missing this show does. Equal parts heart-wrenching and hilarious, the Mormon and the Meth-Head podcast was an inside look at a very unlikely friendship. A fascinating journey of self-discovery and self-repair, Aaron and Jessa shared their experiences as they learned how to fix their hearts and heads after escaping the snares of drug addiction and uh, organized religion. On April 3rd, the dynamic duo return to Salt Lake City for stand-up, stories, and an audience Q&A.
A teen mom-turned-meth-addict-turned-comedian-turned podcaster, Jessa Reed tells raw and candid stories about her past and her new life as a homeschooling housewife trying to blend in with the normal people. Her honesty is shocking, inspirational, and not for the faint of heart. Jessa has been seen at clubs and festivals around the country, and made her stunning television debut on Comedy Central's "This Is Not Happening." Then Epix aired a brilliant episode on her story on their late night stand-up series "Unprotected Sets." Jessa continues to create captivating and iconoclastic podcasts like Soberish and Awakening OD, with her newest project, The Projector and the Flail, premiering last year.
Once a sweet and innocent Mormon boy, Aaron Woodall has an act that’s still very sweet, just not as innocent. Named one of Conan O’Brien’s Comics To Watch at the 2018 New York City Comedy Festival, Aaron has a knack for finding the silver linings while ranting about the clouds, and a charming way of saying the things you didn’t even know you wanted to hear. His “hilarious and heart-warming” 2024 special, Cry For Me Daddy, is streaming now on YouTube. He previously filmed two specials, Unknown and Sad and Needy, with Dry Bar Comedy, and in the quarantine of 2020 he released his self-produced and aptly-named album, WOODALLALONE.

Such a tasty blend of poetry, music, stories and some very stupid comedy. There is literally nothing better to do than to chortle, feel something and down a cold one with Derrick C. Brown and Anis Mojgani. Music by AAN Hosted by Frayn Masters
