Dubbed a podcasting pioneer, in 2006, Jimmy began hosting the raucous-but-smart weekly podcast "Never Not Funny", which Entertainment Weekly called "one of the sharpest and gut- bustingest shows on the Internet." The show has been named a top comedy podcast by The AV Club, Esquire, GQ, and USA Today, and its guest list reads like a Who’s Who of Hollywood (Jon Hamm, Amy Poehler, Rob Reiner, Paul Reiser, and Sarah Silverman, to name a few). DJANGO GOLD
Django Gold (Colbert, the Onion) travels to Portland to perform an hour of new stand-up comedy for all you fine folk. If you watched Bag of Tricks — and many of you did — you won't find any repeats here.
"If you love Norm Macdonald's delivery style, watch this." (New York Times) "With his oddball sense of humor, flair for language, and ability to oscillate between deeply dark observations and absurdist fodder, Django Gold's YouTube special Bag of Tricks is one of 2023's most underrated." (Vulture) "Gold is a clever, purposeful comedian, and Bag of Tricks is a sharp debut that promises a bright future." (Paste Magazine) "Django Gold is a comedic voice that demands attention." TIM MURRAY
This show is a mix of stand up and original comedy songs about Tim Murray’s favorite pop culture WITCHES! Murray is like a gay Bo Burnham, but painted green and doing drag!
The show is a tribute to LGBTQIA people and how we discover our magic once we find our coven. Murray speaks to the many queer people who feel like we have to hide ourselves to fit in and we our powers grow stronger once we find our queer family. From The Craft to Wicked to the Sanderson Sisters to Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Angelica Houston's Grand High Witch, Murray celebrates famous sorceresses throughout herstory and uses their stories as a parallel to the queer witch hunt. Tim Murray has performed stand-up all over the U.S. including SF Sketchfest, The Brooklyn Comedy Festival and DragCon. His new sketch comedy TV show ‘Wish You Were Queer’ produced by Trixie Mattel will debut in 2025. Witches was nominated for an Off-West End Award for Best Fringe show, Murray was shortlisted for the Comedian's Choice Award and WON Best Musical Theatre Show of the Fringe from Entertainment Now. DEREK SHEEN
Derek Sheen has always been known for his dark approach to comedy, but MotherL*ver finds Sheen exploring new territory, grief and hope.
It's a show about Sheen’s mother, Barbara Ellen. Their incredibly complicated relationship and how she taught him to reconcile his fear through humor...by basically exposing him to a tremendous amount of trauma. The show is a collection of insanely dark and hilarious stories wrapped around the concept of finding hope, in even the most hopeless of situations, through laughter. "“I often think about what I would change if given the opportunity to go back in time and it's never 'steal the sport's almanac' or 'stop Hitler'. It's always, 'convince Barbara to see a therapist when she's in her 30s' and 'make my stepfather's death look like an accident” About Derek Sheen: Despite a lack of television or film credits, he has amassed a pretty loyal fan base touring with comedy legends (name-drop alert!) Brian Posehn, Patton Oswalt and Janeane Garofalo. Derek Sheen has released four critically acclaimed albums on Minneapolis based Stand Up! Records, with Grammy Winning producer Dan Schlissel. All four albums are available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music right now! Learn more about Derek HERE |
