The Story of
She's Like The Wind

This show is a musical parody in 2 acts. Run time is 1 hour 45 minutes and includes a 15 minute intermission.

It includes original songs and some songs you already know and love.

Please refrain from taking that phone out and filming or taking photos!

Bad Reputation Productions (the resident production company of The Siren Theater) jumped into the staged parody game back in 2010 with their adaption of the 1987 classic film Road House. Their goal:  to make a comedy out of a drama that takes itself very seriously in the most low budget way as possible.  It was a blast, and that was the beginning of the journey. Since then, Bad Rep has created staged adaptations of the films The Lost Boys, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Poltergeist, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and even filmed a parody of The Blair Witch Project back in 2020 when live productions weren't possible.

They were ready for a new challenge, and the iconic film Dirty Dancing beat out all other competition for the next adaptation. "Why Dirty Dancing," you ask?  They chose this film because...

- It's a story that takes place in 1963 that was written in 1987.
That is fascinating.

-There is a lot of dancing in it, and few people in the cast have had any dance training. Yes please.

- Everything that Patrick Swayze was in is a masterpiece.

We have been working hard on this show and have pushed ourselves in new ways, and we can't wait for you to see it!

Please enjoy She's Like The Wind!
